I Actually Do Need Interns, Apply Below

Posted by timothysykes on Mon 16th of Jun, 2008 10:59:31 AM

Since I commented on the latest episode of LiveStock that I was looking for interns, I’ve gotten a few requests…so I thought I’d answer all the most common questions.

Yes, I am ALWAYS looking for interns, I’m a cheap Jew who’s more than willing to teach you everything I know and write you a glowing recommendation (if u earn it) in exchange for you being my slave intern. Pallian and I are severely overworked so we could definitely use help with blog post/upcoming book editing, stock research, graphic and web design, upcoming website tool coding and programming, video and film production, spamming promotion, podcasting, basically all different forms of publishing because even though I’m a trader, my main biz is teaching others to trade and that requires the creation of all sorts of visual and audio products so I can show you just how many variables there are to consider.

You can “work” your own hours either at my place in NYC or wherever you live as my whole biz is just about entirely internet based anyway. If you come to NYC, understand food and drink will be on me, as that’ll be your only form of payment (web 2.0 may be hot, but as Youtube proves, the $ is sh#!…for now)

Solar plays from last week still holding (TSL (39 average, LDK 38.40, SOLF 18.60). I bought pre-mature thinking oil prices trumped the charts. Short term loss now gain in all of them. For new traders they have all crossed resistance lines and all solid buys.

LDK and TSL crossed the 40 mark

    SOLF crossed the 20 line.

You can buy now or wait till they can hold those numbers into the close.

Great 5 day holds. My 5 day price targets for these.

    SOLF - 22
    TSL and LDK- 44

    Bought 1000 shares of DSTI @ 4.62
    Bought 2000 shares of JADE @ 3.62

Each of these are against my nature (meaning long plays), but DSTI is a member of the solar industry - getting a lot of hype once again in the summer months, and JADE is announcing earnings 2 weeks from now. Goals:
Sell DSTI @ $5 unless it leads me to believe it will supernova like it did in late December
    Sell JADE by Friday.

    Hey Tim,

I've been a lurker here for a while, trying to learn the basics in trading. A little bit about myself, i'm a recent finance graduate from a semi-target school and think an internship would be an excellent oppurtunity to learn how to trade from someone with proven track record as well as a chance to hone my own skills. I shot you a email with a little bit more detail on my background. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you.
