Leave it to Gawker party photographers to take pics of you at the exact moment you’re making a weird face…see me and Dealbreaker’s John Carney schmoozing and boozing last week:

Still, this pic of the Donald in Portfolio the other day is like Gawker x 1,000:

    shorted CRDC 8.95 out 8.66
  • Adam
looks like others had the same idea but didnt create a closing limit order and they're all getting squeezed
  • Evan
    LAUD is on the move!!!
  • sonid
Question for anyone who could tell me what
  • shorted some STXX at $4, will add to position if needed
  • Evan
LAUD level II back to normal
  • Vu-Du
MIT..posted this for your info on the trade on the other post, saw a new post up and I realize you guys travel post to post so here is the info again as to why I sold ROYL at 8.02 when 7.99 looked like the resistance point:

I was looking at 3 minute chart
  • STXX is a lebed pick, remember PSTI, was a great short...evtnually, might be early here
  • sonid
seems like its time to get long on LAUD
  • trader@MIT
    STXX is a beautiful chart
  • YngvaiMalmsteve
Canceled my reserve shares for LAUD since it's surged back to green
  • sonid
LAUD is surging and the bid for 85,000 appearing and disappearing left and right
  • trader@MIT
    FRBK is finally fading.
    Check out the chart.
Vertical action on a pathetic company.
  • DaBear
TIM, I dont think you ever posted your small loss on PTEK?
  • balls...or just plain nuts...
    CRDC...head and shoulders..?
  • be-the-ball
love the folks here that post a trade after they have supposedly completed both sides of the trade for great profit.
  • be-the-ball
    Tim,

I have watched your DVD and shorting a pattern like STXX is definitely not in there. Terrible risk reward there at this point. You are early
  • Vu-Du
MIT, take a look at the daily chart for LEI another small oil play then move into the intra-day charts from the daily...it is being talked up on one or two sites now so nothing spectacular but looks like a good one to put on watch...had a big push up around end of may and has come back down
  • yah def. early on STXX, looks like it might run later today/early tomorrow, thats why its just a 1/2 position
  • trader@MIT
TGE @ 8.50, looks like a nice afternooon fade
  • be-the-ball
I am in LEI at 4.95 about 15 minutes ago. seems to be catching the momo
  • Vu-Du
Ball, if you are referring to me you would like to see the trade print on ROYL?
  • be-the-ball
    No Vu-Du, not anyone specific.

It adds more value to the site if you post as you are entering and exiting like Tim and a couple of others do.

Happy you or anyone made money today but don't really care after the fact...
  • Ryan
Tim, STXX little too early to short, I think, based on today's chart. I am long 2000 shares at $4, exit plan at $5 and then short. Already reserved 2000 shares.
  • covered 300 of 1,000 at $4.25, now big block sell orders maing me feel better about the remainder, once it takes out 4, could go nicely to 3.50
  • covered 400 more at 4.09, not that i think its going much higher, it could, i'm just nto risking it with my tiny account...loss management 101
  • Ryan
Sold all long position STXX at $4.35, made $700 on long side. Now waiting to enter short side.
  • trader@MIT
Ryan, what was your entry point?
  • Ryan
    I bought STXX at $4.00
  • nice ryan, long side was def. the way to go...i'm all out, $250 loss, i'll live and ideally it squeezes into tomorrow
  • JensGould
Any thoughts on ESIC? I know its a "super" pick but its sitting at resistance and selling coming in. Might get an afternoon fade?
  • trader@MIT
What brokers have shares of STXX to lend?
    Zecco nor TOS have any.
  • sonid
anyone else long on the LAUD
  • Tony Ellis
I've got 2700 shares reserved at Scottrad...that was all available
  • AdamN
Tony or Tim, what time were you able to reserve shares of STXX? I'm curious if you got them pre-market or early afternoon, since it seems borrowing shares on these penny stocks is mostly a no-go after the market opens...thoughts?
  • Tony Ellis
I reserved shortly after Tim posted he shorted. I'm waiting to see how it acts into close.
  • Ryan
Trader_MIT, I borrowed 2000 shares from Ameritrade. It is always good to have accounts open with different brokers and when needed you will find shares to short from one or the other. BTW, did you cover FRBK or going to hold O/N?
  • trader@MIT
    I covered at 6.31
  • trader@MIT
    I'll re-short if it hits 4.60+ though.
  • brent
mit: correct me if i'm wrong; wouldn't FRBK be a better play to wait for another push higher then wait for a red day?
  • younggunz
I'm liking how LAUD is starting to form. Kinda wish I would have bought in earlier today to get the front side of the run up. I will keep a close eye to get it when it breaks down.
  • trader@MIT
Brent, yes that would be ideal, but what are the chances that it will push higher? It's nothing but a commercial bank that is in absolute shambles with the financial crisis.
Better Play, but I don't like the chances that it will occur.
They have a 400 million cap with 1b in assets and pathetic earnings. I just don't see it.
  • GT4NE1
Is anyone else's TOS charting all messed up and painfully slow? (Desktop software)
  • brent
looks like another shot at the high: FRBK
  • brent
meanwhile WM dipped from open and went to a double top with fading volume. just trying to make sense of this afternoon fade on a high volume stock...
  • Michael
I still think SLAT is a good short here. They make no money and have over 200million market cap. their technology is not earth shattering if it was it wouldnt be sold to them for cheap.
  • michael, thats just about the worst reasoning i've ever heard....take a look at $700mil MXFD and lets see if u wisen up or if u need my DVD to do it for u
  • Michael
Tim, Maxlife has a real business plan in a whole different sector and a very unique business plan. Your comparison is completely awful. They also have a very knowledgeable board of directors.

SLAT bought its technology and licensing from that POS Hybrid Technologies. There are way too many big players in the lithium ion battery arena for this to compete IMO. It was all fax spammed all over.

The CEO I tried to find information on him, couldnt find one thing. In my opinion even though you think differently, this stock will be at $1 in due time.
  • michael, a fraud is a fraud, doesnt matter what sector. once i have time, i'll do all th enasty digging that will show u how much of a fraud MXFD is...its not that I don't think SLAT will be worthless in time, of course it will, the risk reward here just sucks, technology doesnt matter, just a question of how much spam/promoters are paid
  • Michael
MXFD doesnt seem to be much of a fraud to me to be honest with you. As a matter of fact I know a lot of people in my community who have signed up for these type of policies.
  • I'm short FRBK if anyone wants to nut up and join me. Come onnn its at $4.70s now GET IN! I'm shorting some more, making this a full position and betting that it's a done deal by Friday. Any thoughts?
