StockTwits.com Means You Gotta Sign Up For Twitter, You Just Gotta

If you guys haven’t signed up for Twitter yet, you need to. It’s like sending text messages, updates, pictures and links to anybody who’s interested in what you have to say…think of it as an abbreviated blog and you can tweet from pretty much wherever. At first, I made fun of it—I thought it was only for people who wanted to waste time telling everyone what they were doing, good for kids and geeks—but now I really get it so I update often…think real-time blog posts and stock trades (you can follow my updates HERE)

Besides getting to converse with bigtimers like Fred Wilson (Geocities investor), Dealbreaker editor-in-chief John Carney and Howard Lindzon (WallStrip founder), there’s now a new innovation called Stock Tweets where you put a $ sign before any ticker in your tweet, the stock chart automatically shows up on THIS nifty site which is masterfully designed by Soren Macbeth and is searchable by ticker, industry and twitterer.

For example, check out the charts of all my tweets…notice any pattern?

Yup, it makes everything a lot more understandable and since it just began a few weeks ago, new features are coming soon and I’m sure they’ll help even more! Go ahead, be an early adopter and join in the fun…it’s addictive

Yes, thanks for the incite. It will be helpful in getting plays to my watchlist before it's too late.

SURG is having a pretty nice well...surge. Do you think its worth tracking? I know it is earnings based so it may just stick around at that level or keep going.

    Shitttttttttttt,,

Ok Tim you win, I'm changing brokers I placed orders today and when I came home, I get the message ''no shares available''
and they do not want to compensate me.

    Nobody go to Scottrade

Let me get some reviews on Interactive Brokers and Think or Swim guys.

Who do you like best and who has the least problems.
    Shit I missed 400+ today!

Fantom I'm with you, Scottrade blows for short sellers. Most of the time there are no shares to barrow and they don't allow shorts under $5. I am in the process of switching over to Thinkorswim, since that's what the majority on this site seem to use and have been using successfully for short selling. I just started trading these pump and dumps and now I have to wait 7 to 10 days for my funds to transfer over to TOS, it's gonna KILL me not to trade for a week.....AARGH!

IMO, IB is the best for shorting, has tons of weird ones to short.
Scottrade is the best HOD list ever.
I probably make close to 80% a month just off it alone.
I keep the minimum $500 in it to keep it active and I trade off IB.
Best of both worlds for me!

But shorting with Scott, are you kidding me,it STINKS!!
