    That's some funny stuff.

Agricultural Chemicals was the #1 performing industry in the market today after getting sold off last week. With that said it's no surprise COIN is back from the dead up 15%. EDEN, another super low capper in the same industry is up 12% on low volume. The big cappers like POT, MON, and MOS lead the way then the low cappers follow in supercharge mode. Louis Navellier's Quantum Growth Update positive on POT is the only explanation I could come up with for the positive moves in this group.

If COIN can take out the 7.52 resistance it's clear till 8.88. Just another one to throw on your radar screen.

    Just some Tuesday afternoon thoughts:

Tim, is it possible to UNDERTRADE you're strategy? You're either sticking to it more than ever and waiting for the perfect set-ups, or you're worried about denting your 48%. Hopefully it's the former.

Can't wait until NTI gets it's own post like KYUS- finally covered by the way.

Is it just a coincidence, or does Superman always show up at websites wielding the 'dark gift' after one of his picks has the first down day?- don't get me wrong Man of Steel, I'd love to learn how to profit long and short on the same stock.

I wish The Beard Company (BRCO) had a better spread. (wow- that was a wierd sentence.)
  • Nah Tim - the company that didn't have news the prior 6 months just HAPPENED to start putting out news across the wires coincidently at the same time that mailers just HAPPENED to hit homes ... really... it was just a coincidence they knew nuttin... they swear.. happens all the time

    looooooooool

    Interesting...

To anyone... this is an educational question...

what in that SEC filing above "gives away" this company as a fraud?

Keep in mind that I have not followed this stock or company other than from what Tim has written about it, so from that stand point I get it, but if I read this out of the blue, how would I know this is a fraud? Back research on this company I'm guessing???

    Thanks in advance.

This post is an example of what we all need. More pumps like this to profit from. Thank you Global Investors watch!

GRO after hours. Positive sign it took out the day highs in AH's though this doesn't guarantee it will open positive tomorrow. Remember you should have an exit plan before market opens tomorrow.

BIOF is another one on the radar. Volume is 8 times normal on 140 trades. Really have no opinion on this one as it's an ethanol play and they really don't seem to have multi day runs. Last 90 minutes of trading had a 100% surge in volume closing at 4.97. PEIX two weeks ago ran from 3.30 to 6.86 in 3 days. Today it's trading at 3.30 again.

Add JBLU to your radar. With oil prices slipping you'll see interest return to the airlines. Today had a positive break of 4. Yes, the upside is limited but on the plus side JBLU averages 10 million shares a day. With stocks this liquid you can go in heavy. On a 20K account you could do 10K shares margined.

    TommyTim,

Can you explain your COIN observation? Where did those two prices come from? I'm looking at the charts, but I don't see it.

    Thanks.
  • getshorty
Here short CRED at 15.70 and FPP at 4.85, crappy oil won't make it through the week after all the press is on gas consumption 4% in the US, Soros claiming oil bubble, imanipulation nvestigation on place (everybody laughed at Enrons electricity price manipulation as well)
    Short big on canadian $.

Short NTI after first down day yesterday and crappy come back today.

Ah.... and my kamikaze.... short on acor at 30.14 (ready to cover at 31.14 if it doesn't work)
  • Zykosis
he made them up, don't worry about it. either that or on crack and looking at another chart.

I got those numbers from stock consultant. I don't base any decisions on that site just sometimes use it along with others to get resistance and support numbers. Another site I use shows resistance at 7.91.

    http://www.stockconsultant.com/consultnow/basic...

    SMA
    5 day 6.65
    20 day 8.18
    50 day 9.35
    200 day 6.83

Moving averages don't mean much for these types of stocks. I use them as reference points. I'll be looking at how POT, MOS, and MON perform in pre-market to gauge how COIN will do. 20 day is the most important number for me of that group. I see that as the biggest resistance level in my opinion provided this even gets play. Could be a 1 and done day as COIN hasn't traded green on back to back days in months...........
  • TommyTim
    GT4NE1,

My responses to you keep getting deleted. I got the numbers on COIN from stockconsultant. 7.52 is type 3 strength. Next resistance is 8.88 at strength 6.

20 day SMA is 8.18. Stocks like COIN really don't follow moving averages but the 20 day is what most short term traders look at. Another site I frequent for support and resistance numbers is showing resistance at 7.91.
  • cant wait to catch some of these bad boys on the short side
  • Zykosis
i don't know how accurate those numbers are though...they seem a little out there and random because the chart doesn't show that. i certainly wouldn't trade off their numbers.

    Thanks Investorlive,
Have been following you of late, love your stuff!

Keep an eye on STSI (Tim's pick few days ago). It now seems like a breakout.

I never picked POS KYUS - keep it real please!!!

NTI - is not a fast trade for me and the story will play out this year....never said you cant or wont get a short scalp....but at some point I believe this stock is going much higher
  • Ryan
Superman, my mistake, KYUS was not your pick, it was emailed to me by larrypotter, sorry about that. In any case, I like your picks, and your power to move the stocks on your way. Why not you teach us here (or on your website...haven't seen anything updated on your website yesterday or as of typing this today), how to pick upward movement that really flies higher 10% or above in short period of time.
  • I rarely EVER play otcbb or pk stocks - because I do truly believe that 90% of otcbb and pk are pos scams

I dont have a stock pick every day ... not necessarily a daytrader....my stocks sometimes take time to develop

day-traded SPDE yesterday posted when I went in on thelion.com
  • PinkPanther
Talk about a scam I hear RQST.PK is being invesyigated by the SEC for the 1 day it traded over a million shares while a pump and dump mailer was being ditibuted.
  • These guys are back in the news, still a fraud? Or are they actually going to go higher?
