I might’ve told you once, twice, three times a lady…I have some big plans for LiveStock…but to pull it off, I’m gonna need your help cuz the fun really only starts after I get enough viewers/sponsors to make this thing into the interactive behemoth it’s meant to be.

livestock_ning1 If You Like LiveStock, Let Me Hear You Say Hey Hey Hey And Help Spread The Word!

To start, click the link below to embed the LiveStock video player in your Facebook profile

http://apps.facebook.com/mogulustv/?channel=livestock

It’s just like embedding a Youtube video except the Mogulus video player is better cuz this one player plays and archives all future shows….yeah, it’s cool. And, if you wouldn’t mind sending that link to 1,000 of your closest Facebook friends, I’d be much obliged…really gotta make this thing go viral as then the possibilities are endless…

And LiveStock even has its own social network which you can check out right HERE and join right HERE. I encourage you all to join—and to send to your friends to join—because that way everybody can submit questions and tickers ahead of time and I can let you know of all the crazy stuff we’re planning to make this the single most exciting thing in finance (not that it’s very tough considering my blocks-of-wood-like competition)

LiveStock is just the next step that pushes us far far beyond that of all these random BS stock picking websites and sites that focus on researching companies’ fundamentals. Here I want you to learn/understand all the variables and players cuz they’ll keep doing their thing and once you truly understand the basic set of rules you can minimize your risk/losses and profit repeatedly. Just take it one trade, one pump at a time…

  1. OME another of my faves for an upswing trade, at/near 52 week high, looking to break thru $15 resistance, if it does should be looking for $20 soon, IMO.

  2. AI you’re being attacked because you’re trading like a newbie. I’m seeing a lot of newbie type trades here that should not be happening based on Tim’s teaching mixed with your own experience.

Going short ACOR at 28 because it was up 7 points on the day isn’t smart trading. GMXR was up 7 points on Monday followed by 5 more yesterday. Today it’s flat. It’s a natural gas play. Just proving a point that just because something goes up parabolic you don’t short it.

LGND had a consolidation day yesterday. Even though you might have scalped a few pennies on a short it wasn’t smart to be on the short end of a stock that won FDA panel approval 16-0. MXC short because oil is down. Stock has low volume and oil plays aren’t hot today.

LGND over 4 tomorrow. Mentioned it at 3.35
MXC under 36 by today. Mentioned as a good short at 39

JRJC was never a buy last week even though it beat earnings because the stock didn’t close at the days high. I remember it was me bringing this pick up here and sadly a few people bought intraday.

ROYL could go either way at this point. The money as I said was made buying 1 minute before yesterdays close and selling today in the morning. Wouldn’t short or go long. I suspect it will have another run but it’s really just flipping a coin and trades shouldn’t be based on uneducated guesses.

  3. DGLY another upswing trade, bought 90 @ $9.52 yesterday. Sorry I don’t have the short picks you guys want, but it’s been a good day for the sniper6 so far and think this one wants to break out too. Next stop $15 if it cracks $11.00

  4. ICO another of my fave upswing trades, looking to break out, all of coal is on fire (pun intended). Good Luck everyone!

  5. OK that’s all I got for now. Somebody throw me a bone… c’mon! Looking to short into an afternoon fade.

  6. Hell yeah my trade was moronic, my timming has been exactly opposite on everything long or short the past week, sucks. time to watch the dvd over again. my overall losses are 3.5% from the end of may when i started shorting until now… i guess thats the only good(ish) news

  7. If IMB hits 2.05 it’s a buy. It’s a few pennies away. Could be a gapper. Will get even more pumping at the Lion now that it’s got momentum. A dozen people buying a few K shares will expand it on the radar screen.

  8. NOG, QRCP, HKN could all run if they take out day’s high

  9. I”m long all three. AM I DIVERSIFIED?

  10. ACOR hits 30. The majority of traders here called 30 for today. Congrats my friends. If we work as one unit we become very credible. 2 points. If you bought 1K shares before yesterdays close that’s 2K in profit. You make 1 trade like that a week that’s 100K on the year. Yes, chump change to many of the big traders but that still puts you over 95% of the population.

Don’t trade for the sake of trading. If there isn’t a play do nothing. Sometimes you’ll go days without having a solid opportunity.

The best trade in the market right now is LGND. Talent to being a good trader is seeing something develop before the herd. 3.86 is the big break out number for my pick.

  11. I am weak.. I just couldn’t help it…

    Shorted ACOR at 30.14…

  12. Look at ROYL pop again. Up 90 cents in the last hour. I had a hunch this was going to do a U-Turn back up. MXC and PDO scewed many shorts during their big runs. Patience is key. Don’t short these hot plays during the first few days of their spikes.

If you want a solid short for today the two best fades will be LNG and MXC. You cannot be hurt shorting either. I’d put a stop loss limit at the day high though as nothing ever goes as planned. The minute you get cocky in the market is when you get sucker punched. Fear the market and she shall treat you right. That’s not to say you should trade scared because if you trade like a whimp your portfolio will show it.

  13. GRO has the signs of the next supernova. Keep on eye on the close. This flirts with the high you could be looking at a 10 stock tomorrow. Massive volume…..

  14. can anyone tell me the cd# and time for a fade on dvd pennystocking?

  15. 15
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

TT, thanks for the heads up on GRO. Looks like a solid breakout. I may buy into the close but I’ll wait and see how it’s doing in the last hour

  16. 16
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

After this morning’s flurry, NTI’s been totally dead. No trading for the past hour.

  17. 17
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

I stand corrected. Just had a little flurry a few minutes ago. This thing just wants to hover around $14 and not make a move either way.

  18. ok. newbie question., I’m looking at GRO chart and T&S, .. how do you guys see a breakout.. what do you see in order to tell that a stock might break out or not?

  19. i’ll take a stab at that one TomT, and please anyone correct me if i am wrong! I think first it is a pump on another website. second volume is up, and i think that the breakout above 2.05 is the most important… WAIT for the break out is key… don’t anticipate… W A I T. I think. Right? Wrong?

  20. GRO is hitting 7 times average volume. Stock is up 35% in the last 2 days. Experience is the best teacher for potential breakouts. Even if GRO closes at the day highs on volume this doesn’t mean it will continue its spike up tomorrow. Many times these get sold off next day which is why if things don’t go as planned you sell immediately at pre-market or at open. A good sign if a stock will continue its rise into tomorrow is AH action. ROYL was up 80 cents afterhours which was a positive signal going into today.

  21. OOOps! my bad,,, wrong stock. AHHHHhhh forget i said anything about GRO… Sorry

  22. Nobody’s playing SPDE? Come on people, somebody give an opinion. This thing is up over 100% and I have shares borrowed. Anybody have any ideas about how far up/down this thing is goin?

  23. brent, were you talking about IMB?

  24. y

  25. 25

    any comments on ENT, guys?

  26. SPDE is the type of pump n’ dump that could be a multi-bagger in a very short period of time with a 10 million cap. Good alert.

I suspect the stock will close in on the day highs and get major momo tomorrow. When the markets tumble I notice a spike in low volume pump n’ dumps. Traders have to play something. These are given more attention when nothing else is going up.

  27. 27
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

SPDE, looks risky to play right now long or short. No edge either way.

  28. 28
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

We’ll see what happens with SPDE. It peaked at $3.25 but has faded all the way back to $2.50 as I write this. A lot can happen in the next few hours, but even if it did finish strong into the close near its high, I’d be too worried about a major selloff the next morning. This thing nearly doubled in a single day.

  29. It’s hard to call Icahn a moron but he is on in his older days. The greedy SOB expected to buy 60 million shares at 25 average through european leaps that expire in 2010 via ML then replace the Yahoo board with his own to accept the offer for $33 that has been pulled by MSFT. Talk about getting senile. He’s hit some clunkers lately. Motorola and a bid for Circuit City. He definitely has lost his touch as has Kirkorian with his Ford offer. MGM is getting ripped this year. Kirkorian also made a pitch for 20% of TSO for $70 that was rejected by their board. LOL TSO traded at 23 a few months later saving him hundreds of millions by accident. Don’t follow them just because they are billionaires was the purpose of this post. They can make big mistakes just as your average retail joe.

  30. Thx - TommyTim .. and brownie point for brent for trying..

  31. LOL thx. i needed that lol

  32. 32
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

Just took a closer look at GRO. These guys have a bunch of lawsuits against them.

  33. 33
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

NTI, still barely hanging onto $14

  34. YngvaiMalmsteve.. what would that mean.. whats ur input

  35. 35

seems like i am the only one (short) in ENT

  36. 36
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

News may not mean anything. But I’m on the fence about buying the GRO breakout, and learning about that tips me in favor of not buying and finding a better play.

  37. Tim, chk the chart out on SPDE, does this look like a good short?

  38. ACOR $31s coming!!

  39. afternoon squeeze on royl?

  40. pulled the trigger and got 150 GRO @ $6.85.. holding overnight.

  41. Nice squeeze here on ROYL, watch for HOD to see if it can break it

  42. GRO looking solid. Tomorrow should do 5 million plus shares and touch 10. Making new intraday highs last hour of trading. Last 5 minutes is the most important though.

  43. 43
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

GRO surging…still might buy it into the close today

  44. nHOD ROYL

  45. Back in ROYL at 9.70 looking like a good move should be a hold overnight we’ll see how the last few mins of trading go.

  46. 46
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

NTI cracks me up….clinging by its fingers to $14

  47. Tomorrows monsters are SPDE and GRO. I still stand by my LGND as a good 1-2 week hold. The other 2 are 1 day pump n dumps.

Look at ROYL squeeze the shorts. Followed MXC and PDO chart, same pattern. A fake fade then a monster surge.

  48. 48
    YngvaiMalmsteve -

I’m buying into GRO if it can surge past $7.40 in the last 10 minutes or so…just like ROYL surged in the last 10 minutes yesterday

  49. First trade, in for GRO @ 7.26

  50. Tommy Tim thanks for GRO, I pickup 500 @7.15. I was comtemplating ROYL earlier and held off and cancelled my order @ 9.62 because I had to leave. guess I shoulda left well enough alone.
