sykes cover 1x1 5 The Latest Glowing Book Review For An American Hedge Fund

It’s reviews like this that really make me proud. Forget that this guy thoroughly enjoyed my book for a second—more importantly, you’ll see he was even more pleased that somebody else in this joke of an industry shared similar experiences as him. I call this a joke of an industry only because of the ridiculous SEC regulations that divide us and prevent us from sharing our experiences openly. To cut through all the misconceptions caused by this regulatory BS—that’s the goal of my book and website…thank God it looks like I’m succeeding.

Take your stinking paws off us you damn dirty SEC!

(The views expressed above are solely my own and do not reflect the views of the book reviewer below)

I just wanted to thank you for recommending (and writing) your book (An American Hedge Fund)
I just finished it a few minutes ago.
I am not a big reader,
And yet I read it cover to cover in 2 sittings!
It was fantastic!

Honestly, I felt like the book was detailing my own life.
I am a trader as well, and have a startup brokerage/trading firm.
Although firms like mine are not as regulated as far as advertising, etc, the way that Hedge Funds are,
I totally understand what you went through.
When I was reading about you spending money on clients,
Wining and dining, traveling, upgrading the wardrobe, car, house, etc,
I was like “wow, that is exactly what I have been doing”!
Everything from “playing the part” to Wall Street Warriors…amazing!

I couldn’t agree more with the points that you made about trading.
Discipline is #1, and ego and emotions have no place in successful trading.
Unfortunately, I have made all of the same mistakes that you have made, (including investing in a soon to be public company) and probably more.
However, it was refreshing to read an honest account of your mistakes as well.
I guess it made me feel as though I wasn’t the only one making these mistakes.
I really do not know any traders other than myself,
And I definitely do not know anyone who has tried to raise capital for their new, small firm.
So I guess hearing someone else’s detailed story gave me reinforcement that I am not alone in my successes and failures in the financial world.

As I had mentioned, I trade futures and commodities for my clients.
However, I am interested in your DVD for penny stock trading (PennyStocking)
for my personal account.
Due to start up costs for my firm, my personal trading account has taken a serious hit,
But soon it will be fat again, and I am looking to broaden my horizons with your strategy.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks.
I thoroughly enjoyed your book.
I wish you the best.

Just checking in. Great improvements to the site and review Timmay! I'm watching IXYS and BRCO for the first down day, and my ebof pick from last week did decide to start a small run. Besides that, I'm pretty much watching your every move and learning by osmosis 'til I break down like GBR and buy the DVD!
  • Fantom
I will be getting the book to include it in my research. Because of you I became a market junkie or should I say the market Fantom. No sleep, and I'm sneaking around at work to make trades. The strategy is great. PennyStocking is the way to go.
I've sent the site to friends, but some people are none believers.
I've even went and re-watched Wall Street Warriors and watching the new season.

Somewhere there's a stock that's ready to jump...
and the Tim Warriors be there to watch you fall.
