Forget finance for a second, while we’re for these commodity plays to breakdown, check this out…First, the incredible website, ListenToYouTube.com—you type in a Youtube video URL and they extract an MP3 out of it within a minute for you to own freely forever. How great of an idea is that? And despite my stating in a Huffington Post interview a few weeks ago that I’d never give into the whole iTunes, well, I gave in, buying a Shuffle, which is good for workouts. Paying $1/song just was never in the cards for this cheap Jew so I’m glad this site came along or else I’d risk downloading nasty viruses.

Speaking of nasty, I gotta get your opinion on something…I was at brunch over the weekend with one of my friends who has a tiny Chihuahua…when the food arrived, she reached down to give her some to her dog…by way of her fork.

I cringed.

At first, she didn’t notice my reaction and went right back to eating her fruit salad, sticking that same doggie fork in her mouth.

I almost gagged.

She noticed that.

Am I wrong to be disgusted by this canine/human saliva sharing? Didn’t Something About Mary make fun of this very issue? Uhh, I can barely watch THIS video. Sick. Serenity now George, serenity now! Gotta find a soothing Youtube clip to download to my Shuffle…for free…hehehehehe

Small oil plays are shooting to the moon with no let up in site on record oil prices. MXC, PDO, FPP. There is a new one called TORO.OB that is starting to get spammed. Could be potential multi-bagger. Keep an eye on volume because without it there can be no supernova.

I could go either way. I'm not overly freaked out by it (they say a dogs tongue is pretty sterile, so unless it just got done licking it's balls...). But I can certainly understand why you would be freaked out by it.

On the subject of small dogs- while there are some exceptions to this rule, I find most of them annoying.. I usually refer to them as nards (for Not A Real Dog). Just thought I'd throw that out there. :)

Sykes, no need to pay $1 per song, go to alltunes.com, it's a russian Itunes, around $ 1 per album, no peer to peer. Ripping audio from youtube gets pretty bad sound.

If you stand by Candle chart patterns the big morning star on PEIX yesterday would be a substantial reversal signal. But i havent played with candle patterns on illiquid stocks like this.

FPP seems to have some lower resistance around 7.85 - 7.9 then pops back up into the low 8s. My be a good scalp opportunity.

GetShorty: I use mininova.org and isohunt.com for most of my torrents. When it comes to getting MP3s you're going to have more luck getting whole albums and discographies than individual songs.

Hey all, just finished a nap, gonna go back to work. Ended up losing $944 on the day of FPP (short @ 7.54, cover @ 7.87). Makes me sick to see that I covered on the huge sell off. Oh well, Ended the day $531 up on ROYL (short at 6, cover at 5.8 and 5.83 just a few minutes ago). Overall, a loss of $413 on the day, but not bad when I was playing with over $40K. Tim, might I suggest a supplement to your strategy by 'not putting all our eggs in one basket.' I think your covestor account details what percentage of your Buying power you use, but rarely do you tell us why. See you all tomorrow, still above 25K, still a pattern day trader, still pissed at the SEC!

Shorted FPP 7.45 on bad wedge buy shoulda waited for crackdown.
Bought half FPP 7.83 in case it kept going up.
Sold rest at 7.10 and 6.77.

Broken even for today. O well. Theres always tomorrow.

Dude yall are taking the hard route. Think about how much effort this is taking yall. You have to go through the hastle of reserving shares, you have to wait for it to pop high, you have to wait till the afternoon, and by being short your potential loss is way more than the potential loss of being long (yah yah i know stop losses in place, blah blah).

But seriously, I scroll this thread after a long 5 hour nap following my 30 min 16.5% return and I see big losses and unnecessary use of precious PDTs. Go long, its easier and no less risky because longs can use proper stop loss orders too! Every fuckin oil play that I called, FPP, ROYL, MXC, PDO is stil in the green. I wouldnt short if I were you. Your only going to get squeezed, these buyers are not going to give up this easily. They wont give up untill it finished hard in the red.

I have to cash my account out since its my signon bonus and I have to use a bit of it to find an apartment in NYC otherwise id find a good entry for an overnight long hold on ROYL, FPP, PDO.

I wouldnt hold MXC overnight because I agree it is severly overextended and as you can see its starting to have some wild swings, not to mention everyone and their dog has shares of it reserved.

ROYL held up beautiful and mos tlikely will gap again.
FPP has recovered really nicely and i wouldnt be suprised to see over 8 in afterhours. Will gap.
PDO beautiful hold up and perfect late afternoon squeeze.

PDO, out at 27.50, screw this, not risking big squeeze, key to successful short selling is keeping losses small

PDO is probably a decent hold also but 3 oil plays is a little too much exposure for most ppl I guess.

I really wish I could play, but im leaving to find a place in NY on Saturday morning and I dont wanna chance not having the cash liquid in my checking.

wes as i've said over and over, shorting is the hard route, but ultimately the right one....MXC news is the first time I've EVER seen one of these plays come out with anything positive...99 halts out of 100 tank 30-60%

Tdrag,I wouldn't go long on PEIX. Yesterday it was kickin' ass, but today it didn't do anything. I bought some this morning thinking it would repeat it's performance of yesterday.

It didn't even START high this morning...you could get lucky tomorrow, but it seems unlikely to do much of anything.

I did pick up some shares of FPP hoping it will do the same thing it did today. I'll probably do like Wes and dump it early in the morning - even if it does get up +2 in the early afternoon.

I just want my $1 profit...
