12 Hot Stocks For Manipulation Monday, Wish It Was Supernova Sunday

Tags: Breakouts, Hot Stocks, Manipulation, Patterns To Buy, Potential Plays

PSTI
Everybody and their mother is contacting me about this pump and dump to short…now that I have some capital/trades available to me this week, I might short it, but it is down $2 in 6 days and there’s really only $1 of downside left

XRM
March’s big drop was due to its debtload, now a solid earnings report has brought it back up…not a pump and dump, I’ll avoid it…for now

SSBX
It’s a friggin Bancorp! That just reeks of boredom…barely up, let e know when it go up ore than 50%, or changes its name and gets into cancer research of wind energy

APWR
Speaking of breaking wind, this guy just broke out for a second time in a few months, seems ike forever since THIS post (why I’m anti-investing), although it was about as gradual as my descent into madness, aka not all. I trust this company about as much as I enjoy pissing into a wind blower, but I respect this breakout enough not to short it…yet

VRML
Watch, it’s gonna tank below $2.50 today just to piss me off. Beautiful thing about PennyStocking
is that despite my passengers-watching-an-Arab-on-an-airplane-like patience, the longer you hold these ideal plays, usually the better. I’m fine with my 20% profit though…

NTHH
The commenter with the best summary/research is Jorge from InvestingAdventures.com. I’ll email you privately to get your mailing address for one autographed copy of my book An American Hedge Fund…congrats man! This guy posted his summary HERE first then he followed that up with some PR research HERE.

Basically if you want to know this company, jut read all the comments of THIS post. Good job guys, I’m proud of your research—only thing I’d add is that there’s none of the usual suspects pumping this thing and there’s only 480 shareholders (on PinkSheets.com) so there’s no guarantee of any rational selling pressure, and you gotta remember if a fake company can go from 0 to $1 in a few days, there’s no pesky actual business to get in the way of it going to $2, $3, % or even $10, if the promotion is big enough…I’ll try reserve shares to short just in case.

DPDW
Still just a gradual riser, keep an eye on it, went Supernova back in October, hope it does it again

CROX
Many people buying this dip, I hate this pattern, look at SIRF, ETFC, SWHC, FRPT, all have done squat, only good for scalping but I don’t recommend that, it’s no way to live

SUNV
Gradual riser now, already consolidated, no reason to go short anytime soon…also up too much to buy, falls into that range of stocks where the odds ain’t good no atter how you slice it

AYSI
Solid earnings for a tiny company right at a key breakout level, what a coincidence! NOT! Guess how I’m lookin’ to play this

FORC
Is that a manipulation chart pattern I see?!?!? Oh yes it is! Nowhere near ready to bake my special “short the hell of this fraud” cake yet though, let it roast a few weeks/month first til the juices are really flowin’

CNEX
And you thought NTHH was bad! $350 mil marketcap, sketchiest PR I’ve ever seen and last SEC filing from before the last stock market crash…in 1987…seriously…I’ve reserved 300 shares to short LOL

Beware SSBX. It is a regional California bank trading below book value but with a TON of sketchy loans. The smart money has it going bankrupt within a year (well, FDIC doesn’t let that happen, so going to zero and getting bought out for $1 by a competitor).

Nice Tim, NNVC can’t go 7 days up in a row can it?

  30. 30bullpicks6

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:15 am

hey sykes hater are you insinuating that Tim doesn’t know anything because he’s lost money in the market?
I know that most lessons are learned the hard way, Tim has learned many of these.
I being a seasoned and extremely successful trader have lost tons of money, but those losses and lessons in the losses helped me earn it right back…
There is a book called Reminesince of a Stock Operator, he lost tons only to make it back…
Think of your trading portfolio as a stock, when it runs up, naturally you hit resistance, then it hit’s support which is higher than where the run started, at support it moves back up etc. etc.

Most importantly, are you saying you have never lost money in the market, because it would seem to me that if your track record is that impeccable you would have much better things to do with your time than hate on a OTC blogger

  31. 31Jeff C

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:16 am

Will you wait til afternoon and follow your rules? It’s starting to fakedown…

  32. 32timothysykes

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:17 am

when they have absurd PRs that insinuate cures for AIDS and avian flu without showing any data to back their claims up, nnvc can go up 1,000 days in a row…dont try to scalp it, just wait for the inevitable slightly down day

  33. 33noobtrader.08

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:18 am

how can you tell a “fakedown”

  34. 34short shot

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:18 am

    NNVC hit 1.40

  35. 35bullpicks6

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:26 am

EGTS hit 1.20 support, looks like the spot to scoop if you missed the boat

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:27 am

Boy, this Sykeshater guy, he an asshole!

  37. 37bdog9seclx

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:32 am

Lol im in atlanta Sykes hater was probably refering to Hampton Inn…im sure his privater jet flew him out there…If he was who he said he was do you really think he would be posting meaningless crap on this site what aq joke and loser…the fact that he is jealous for something makes me laugh…if he was a decent trader he would throw some picks out to show his worthiness but he is a waste dont ban him Tim we need the haters

  38. 38will_the_thrill

  41. 41sykeshater1

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:41 am

bdog, im sorry i dont short garbage for the short term, so i wouldnt give advice on this site. The reason i am a hater is simple, i think this guy is a clown and in no time he will be insolvent, mark my words. I have lost plenty of money, trust me, however I have made way more than I ever lost, hence my 10+ years in this business. AS far as what I am trading nowadays, its not much. Sitting on cash until there is some sanity in the markets. I am however long oil and short financials, trade has been on for almost a year and it is KILLING it.

  42. 42jj

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:42 am

Hampton Inn….that’s funny shit. i’m sure his private jet was more like southwest.

  43. 43sykeshater1

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:46 am

Actually took the chopper home last night, if you have the means I highly recommend it. With this strategy, Im thinkin 2020

  44. 44YngvaiMalmsteve

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:47 am

No, I don’t have a position on NNVC. If I do go long on NNVC, I’m going to wait for a pullback. They’re supposed to have more press releases on their HIV studies in coming weeks which will probably drive the price higher over the long term.

  45. 45Bob (VC)

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:51 am

KRY? Lots of volume, lots of sell orders.

  46. 46Dan-O

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:52 am

SykesHater… You sure do have lots of time on your hands for such a busy and successful cat.

I have to compliment you on the nice new accent, did you pick that up in the chopper as well? Or have you just been reading Anthony Burgess?

By the way, Try calling it a “Heli” next time, it will add a little something to your fantasy life.

  47. 47bdog9seclx

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:53 am

Sykes hater it seems your as transparent as the hudson river…i just am so curious as why u are even here are you a mad analcyst that Tim called out or the author of that failed magazine? maybe your a mad cygt holder but if you were so wealthy and almighty then you wouldnt of found your way here except for a vendetta against Tim… I bet you money he knows who you are…If your so omniscient show yourself.

  48. 48Bob (VC)

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:55 am

STCA- pump or die? What’s with the sudden rise?

  49. 49sykeshater1

    May 12th, 2008 at 10:56 am

Im sure there are people selling because people scooped it up at .60 on Friday and are selling the pop. It traded double the 3 month avg vol on Friday, that wasnt an accident
