10 Hot Stocks & Other Cynical Views On The Trashy World Of Penny Stocks

VRML Still 1,300 Shares short @ $3.75
LGDI

Both are supernovas, LGDI near its highs, but VRML still up waaay more %-wise…both have fading volume, both can still squeeze shorts even though they’ll probly fail. I’m short VRML cuz it’s up on stock promoters, ill-researched media story and best of all the company is a truly failing biotech microcrap in the same vein as REED, VION, DARA and PSTI—each of which also jumped 200%+ and have now retraced ALL of their gains (PSTI is only halfway, but give its also the newest)

VRML coulda woulda shoulda gone negative on the day, cracking the key $3.40 yesterday, but they smartly issued a fluffy PR I won’t dignify linking to (they formed a committee)(you think they don’t know that would squeeze some shorts c’mon, this is the beauty of pumping–they don’t have actual business to tie them down, their business is getting the stock up!…still, after an initial spike, very nice gradual downtrending all day, great sign, sooner or later, we’ll get some panic selling

HDSN
You can’t stop this air conditioner play (seriously) after it just reported solid earnings…good for 25 cents/share intraday peaks and valleys, if you’re into that sort of thing

OIL
Woooo $125, I don’t care. I hope it goes to $1,000, then we’ll get plenty of great oil pump and dumps and our Short Selling profits will be that much greater when the whole world is in the midst of a crippling depression!

STATS
No, it’s not a ticker, just thought I’d share that 8 days into this new month, we just surpassed all the page views for December—that calls for a quintuple jewwwww yahhhhh!

CTDC
Great example of why you don’t short randomly strong penny stocks…Let it have its day in the sun, after all, this eternally trashy company just changed industries specifically to hype itself up! You don’t think I know what I’m talking about? Fine go ahead and short it, you’ll either make 50 cents/share or get squeezed $1-2, have fun with that craptastic risk-reward

SUNV
Great example of why you take profits on the reversal and then you move on when it stops going down

ENT
I’d never buy this kind of breakout, classic classic slight afternoon intraday/multi-month breakout above $3 followed by a little tankage—pros trying to create a self-fulfilling prophecy

NNVC
One of the all-time sleaziest companies out there, it ain’t spiking’ cuz its got a future, its spiking cuz its paying to be spiked! Nothing special, just the usual suspects

SYNM
Just because they’ve moved to the Nasdaq doesn’t mean they’re gonna stop paying promoters…it’s a gradual riser now

JYHW
Don’t forget about buying this one if and when it breaks $2.75, they’re a proven pay-to-play pump and dumper

HYBR
Speaking of paying companies, this one is near legendary and is trying to get back in the game. Anybody got a spare $100,000-$200,000 to loan them?

• damn, Tim, you weren't kidding when you said you'd post more pennystocking ideas on your new website; thanks for the work you put into the site and the content.
• Oh yeah, I have an idea: since your site/business model is about showing that PennyStocking WORKS, how about making a page dedicated to listing some of your regular readers (your students as you'd call them) and log their performance. For instance, Tony Ellis is up BIG TIME by now, right? and so are some of the other fellahs. I will be up BIG soon too once I get my account up and running. But adding that feature on your site would further contribute to the community aspect of what you're trying to build, wouldn't it? Oh yeah, also check out http://disqus.com/; it's a Howard Lindzon funded project.
• DarkMatter
Morning Tim,

Looks like u got a new fan..(read first two comments)....https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=8170206075768301242&postID=6640878816506126253

Bet you didn't know you could move markets w/ your pen....LOL
• DarkMatter
Then Bro, I shit you not, this guys big play is to hold IMB (long) through earnings....BWAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAA...
• definitely gonna have a place for student to log their gains--and losses--this is just the beginning, this website is bare bones basic right now!
• far too much credit for SKNY tanking, it was late in the pattern--as evidenced by unsustainable volume
• IMB is a little bitch play. I've had it under my 'banks' watchlist and it rarely ever shows any clean opportunities. That thing is poised to slide lower and lower. Check out PFB and other tiny mortgage-based banks that are similar to IMB.
• Did you ever make anything on SKNY, Tim?
• novalis78
Good morning Tim & Co. Reviewing G/L of members would indeed be cool. Gives credential to other guy's picks and opinions...
• 350z
why not trade USO, OIL, or companies like MRO, HES, CVX, PCO, BP people?

lots of buyers, more people throwing dollars into commedies, falling dollar, biggest % gain in 1 week of oil ever? hold for a few days? of even just today?

if u were to trade one of the both which looks the best?
• never made a dime of SKNY, it wasnt up enough and i didnt have any more trades i could do anyway
• Webster
Tim based on the fading volume if for some reason VRML were to spike back up on a trade or two past 3.80 would it be smart to add some more?
• J-Mo
Reserved 2500 more VRML this morning. Ready for that squeeze if it comes. Average cost/share is 3.6309 right now. Hoping for one more squeeze to 3.80 before this bomb drops.
• YngvaiMalmsteve
I've got shares of NNVC reserved
• novalis78
J-Mo...your -2500 stick out like a short thumb. LOL
• will_the_thrill
tim, did you get a chance to look at bpsg?
• monkiman
COOL, it will be nice to see others gains and losses. I use TOS for my pennystocking, but I also have IB account for scalping, or executing over 50 trades a day. So far, pennystocking strategy is very consistent compared to my scalping strategy. However, I did make near 20,000 in one day scalping LEH in march, but also lost 7,000 in one day scalping BIDU 2 weeks ago as it spiked from low 200 to 370 in a matter of a week. So pennystocking is by far best strategy to grow account consistently.
• Millionairemind
Ben_Bein, add SSBX on your list, if you haven't yet. It was mentioned by investorslive a couple of days ago.
• Webster
Site Comment - would be cool if the blog ran from bottom up and you could have it auto refresh every 60 secs or so. I keep this open during the day and have to refresh the page and scroll down every time. Would be nice to have it just refresh every so often with the newest blog at the top. Just a thought.
• novalis78
...almost like a chess game: executing the right move at the right time, anticipating hundreds of possible moves by other players in the market. Yes, it would be great to see how many here could make consistent profits.
• J-Mo
Novalis, gotta get up early to get those shares. Don't be J.
• bdog9seclx
VRML down after hours but opened up . 08 up? another spike before the fall? whoo is pumping this thing whoever it is is doing a good job
• Millionairemind
SSBX, someone ordered 93,000 shares on level II, just bought 40,000 shares at $2.02 still waiting for 54,000 to fill. What does this means?
• sniper6
watch EFOI. I think it's a long term loser, had a nice pop yesterday on news of a new CEO, but I suspect it will pull back nicely, maybe losing 10 - 12 % today.
• sniper6
more on EFOI, there were some recent insider purchases, but they were small potatoes, just some insiders hoping to start buzz. Strictly misdirection. This company is going to shit the bed.
• VRML is just a waiting game, could still spike, but sellers look determined today

EFOI who cares what u think, hate all these companies equally but focus on fundamental news and price action. new ceo and insider buying are not bearish and the stock isnt up enough...this isnt a game, u dont short random strong penny stocks or else the odds are against u
• Dan_O
Tim, You're right about CTDC, it's a "incubator" company which is a fancy term for a perennial pump and dump.

It used to be a Chinese internet security company (their website is down so I guess they're probably not very competent), and now they supposably are going into solar. It's all bulls**t.

I still think CTDC is a short if it can get up to 11.00 and show weakness (which it might with this nasty short squeeze going on). Don't rule it out.

Just my .02
• Bob (VC)
Come on VRML, time to say goodnight you little bitch.. That 5600 buy at 3.40 won't save you now.. By Monday you'll be just another discarded pumped n' dumped.

I not very PC or PG with my comments, no?
• thanks for the SSBX recommendation, MM, but I don't like the look of the chart. I certainly will add it to my 'banks' watchlist but otherwise it looks kind of scary. Keep in mind that just because a stock has tanked doesn't mean it will certainly rebound. That's the problem with calling these lows, because even once you call it, you might not see a rebound for a while. That is why I am adapting Tim's method of shorting spiking stocks, because it is far more probable that these will fade after they've run up so high over so short a time interval. I would not recommend going with SSBX but hey, I could be wrong. I do not know the full details surrounding SSBX, but I am verrry familiar with other shitty mortgage-related banks and entities such as TMA and MGI, so that's why I am confident enough to trade those.
• Bob (VC)
Tim- I've heard a few times about looking for the 'Ax' on Level II. For VRML, it looks as though it might be NITE, right? I have no idea what I'm talking about here, so whatever info you can lend will help me, and most likely the rest of you minions as well..
• Davey
Dan-O its not about price targets, its about price action. Let CTDC do its thing and then evaluate it.
• yea, I've been watching CTDC since the beginning of this week; it looks like a good target but we need to wait it out.
• bob no idea, i just look for key price levels to break...lots of other games, but until it breaks, i'm no confident, if it breaks and rebounds, i'm even less confident, but if it breaks and either tanks or goes down gradually, timayyy is happy
• Millionairemind
Ben_Bien, it absolutely doesn't make sense to add anything tanked so much in your cart when shopping. I was mentioning this one just to add on your crappy bank list. And since it was mentioned by investorslive two days ago or so and I saw a 93,000 shares buy order from UBSS (still awaiting for 54,000) on level II and was curious, that is all. By no means it should be bought, but could be $0.25-0.50 gainer as investorslive suggested?
• Dan_O
Thanks Davey!

You've got a great point about price action, as a gradual move to my price target wouldn't work as a short.

My thesis is that these pump and dumps have overhead resistance built into them. That's why I trade off technical levels and it prevents me from being early on these plays.
• bullpicks6
EGTS looks like a pump in the making, should be able to play this long side and then short side
• Davey
Dan-O,

Exactly you've got the right idea with letting it run, just don't set specific price targets because the target might not indicate anything. It could hit 11 and go to 15. But yea, you've got it correct to leave it alone for now, just watch.
• JMoates77
Tim, what does the level II action look like on VRML. I can't see it on TDA without a pay-mambership to their shitty club. What's the size blocks are we lookin at on the buyer side?
• Al
Is PDO breaking out?
• Dan_O
Davey, I love charts man, I like setting targets because it allows me to track 30+ charts a day. Also, I trade option collars (not on MOMO's) so it helps estimate the strike price to buy and sell.

It's more of a "heads up" thing for me, and I never trade on triggers.

Anyway, thanks for posting your entries and exits here. I'm still not as good at this as you are and it helps to look over a more experianced shoulder.
• Bob (VC)
JMoates- for TDA, you just need to make 5 trades in a month (or something like that) and you are upgraded to Apex w/free Level II and Bookviewer (which I prefer). Right now according to the Bookviewer, there are about 7200 combined buy orders at $3.40, but that is the only big block on the radar. There also looks to be about 3x the number of sellers as there are buyers.
• Dan_O
JMoates, bluff them into giving it to you for free. Tell them you're thinking of moving over your account from blah blah brokerage to TDA and you want to see what they offer.

You gotta hustle 'em.
• Guess Circuit city's closing price and win $$

• Davey
Don't spam princeofinvesting...take that to yahoo
• Al
OR is PDO a fake out break out????
• bullpicks6
GTXO has been a heckuva pump, should start losing momo soon...

EGTS looks like a pump getting started as i said
• Dan_O
Anyone else scared off by uniform bid and ask quantities? Can there really be 30 buyers and sellers buying and selling 500 shares every few cents.
• JensGould
Dan-o if youre looking at otc.bb stocks thats all you'll see. They don't usually list actual orders.
• monkiman
VIT getting raped.... i love this game.. lol
• Dan_O
JensGould, I thought it was someone buying and selling the same shares to themselves tryign to churn the price higher.

You still watching WSCI, It's getting close to that neckline.
• Goose
Millionairemind - props to you man..Good entry at the support
• Goose
Only I had a bigger position in it. SSBX just in case anyone is wondering
• Goose
Millionairemind - when do you plan to exit that ?
• Sykes hater1
Ohmy god Tim, I just mad six dollars using your strategy!! It really does work!!
• Bob (VC)
VRML- there is about 7500 shares worth of buys sitting just below the bid. How big of a spike will this cause if it's hit? Anyone betting?
• JensGould
Dan-o which stock are you looking at?
• JensGould
Who likes 27k share sell orders on lgdi? This guy!
• PETEKUSH
GPOR TANKING NOW great shortr supernova
• coin getting close to it's resistance look out the next couple days, usually goes around 8 and gets a pump
• Dan_O
WSCI, yearly view you mentioned yesterday that there was a H&S
• I received "An American Hedge Fund" today. I cant wait to start reading it.
• novalis78
XRM supernoving on loss report. LOL.
• JensGould
Yeah it definitely is getting close Dan-o. It would be nice to see a little more volume.
• JMoates77
Bob, the spike won't occur if it's a limit order. Only if it was put in as a market would it increase.
• JensGould
Actually if WSCI can close below the neckline though it could make a decent overnight short and cover into a morning sell off.
• Dan_O
Tim, PSTI... ASK is 3.05, should I wait till the close?
• be-the-ball
Tim,

XRM?
• YngvaiMalmsteve
XRM is an earnings move. Short at your own risk.
• Sykes hater1
Jesse if you want to make good use of that book, take it into a mens room stall, wipe, repeat.

Calling Cilantro a Hedge Fund is a joke. No one would give this fool money to trade, was apparent on WSW
• Anyone long HDY, GTXO or ENT today?
• Dan_O
Doesn't matter anyway, TDA won't allow it.

It's like a bad marriage.
• Bob (VC)
JMoates- thanks for the info. I guess I never really thought about it.. Some times I realize just how little I know.. Maybe I Should Buy Tim's DVD! :)

Actually, it is on my list of things to do, but seeing as how Tim hasn't posted in a little while, I though someone needed to plug his DVD!!
• Mark
Does anybody out there know how I can start getting my hands on these good ones. Think or Swim hasn't had anthing I've wanted for the past 3 days. Are any of you having success shorting OTC/under $5 stocks at other brokerages?
• YngvaiMalmsteve
I'm short NNVC, entered at $1.09 earlier today. Was fading but now it's hopped back up. Doesn't seem to want to crack below $1.05 yet. Hit down to $1.05 but now it's back up to $1.10.
• Dan-O
LOL Bob you f'n shill!!
• Millionairemind
Ben_Bein, sometimes crappy bank works, and it did today. Like I posted about the huge block SSBX buyer this morning. I entered a long position on 1600 shares at $2.02, sold at $2.52, nice $800 gain. This credit goes to investorslive! Thank you investorslive.
• YngvaiMalmsteve
Mark, you have to reserve your shorts early in the morning. Otherwise you'll never get them.
• Davey
Looks like VRML just might fall below 3.40 finally
• Just finished up a great interview to find VRML tanking PERFECTLY, just 2k left at $3.40, then the tan should really be on

Sykes hater--dont me mad my strategy works, just shoulda shorted VRML when there were shares available and then you'd be happy too!

Latecomers--you aint gonna find any shares,, keep trying though...early bird gets the worm--sometimes you gotta be days in advance, just the way it works with these plays since there's literally a 90%+ chance of them dropping
• be-the-ball
YNgwai

XRM missed earnings, Net operating loss, debt problems on balance sheet

you must be confused
• YngvaiMalmsteve
Doesn't matter what the earnings report said. The move is obviously in response to earnings, good or bad. Like Tim says, shorting earnings moves is risky...period.
• Sykes hater1
Point is, over the long haul this is a losing strategy and not a way to amass any type of wealth or consistent income. Its proven fact. people, put your cash in treasuries, you will be happier and safer for it. This guy is walking you right into the lions den
• YngvaiMalmsteve
Hey, Sykes hater, if your strategies are successful, then make a website and publically post your trades so we can all see it. Otherwise you're no different from a pump n dump....all hype with no substance
• be-the-ball
yngvai,

every company reports earnings, following your supposed logic, I would never short a company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if the earnings stink, the earnings stink. COIN reported earnings, went up, was a great short.
• Goose
XRM did post a loss but if u actually read the stats their sales and everything went up and Cash.
• jesseb
Sykes hater, that way I can be like 60 when I retire? With...a million or two? Sweet, sign me up for being old and rich!

I want to be the 30yr old guy driving around in a Porsche, not the guy driving the nice car and then people say "oh yeah, he's old...of course he can afford that"

Fuck that noise my man.

This isn't investing, this is trading...the point is to make it a replacement for working for a bunch of dickheads that could care less if I'm alive or dead.

As Worm would say - you just keep grinding out the rent money bud.
• Bob (VC)
Tim, don't worry, I took care of the marketing while you were gone!

Ahh, about 90% of the 3.40's have been taken out. No one loves you any more VRML, time to take a bow..
• JensGould
• YngvaiMalmsteve
Dude, COIN's biggest shortable moves were NOT in response to earnings reports. They were in response to hype & fluff.
• JensGould
• Bob (VC)
LOL.. Man, only on this site can I feel like an old man at 34!! WTF!!
• be-the-ball
Goose,

I read the stats, I listened to the conference call. They are stalled on their new factory in Vietnam. They have a huge credit problem, they are working on.

They don't give guidance on forward quarters either...
• be-the-ball
Don't call me dude
• Allen
Weird. Etrade will not let me short OR BUY shares of VRML at all.
• jesseb
Bob - 34?? omg!! Go get your adult diapers you old bastard! :P I think Tim and I are the same age...we're probably brothers...he should totally give me some money...brotherly love and such.
• be-the-ball
I hear you on that BOB, these frat boy retards are annoying
• Sykes hater1
Jessb,

You are a moron. The guy you just described is me. Sports car. Check. Apt ownership in Gramercy? Check. However im 27, not 30. YOu are obviously not that bright, as I was alluding to the fact that this strategy is for pikers. You will NEVER, and I mean NEVER get wealthy trolling for nickels ballbag

Yngvie, I work for a large fund, we don't publicize our trades, hence the reason Im able to live the lifestyle I currently do.
• JMoates77
I'm gettin on a plane bound for San Diego in about 2 hours. The greatest thing is that I know what VRML is going to do. Tim, you're right, just look at the price action. Sometimes (Murphy's Law) it will bite you in the ass cause you can never see EVERYTHING coming, but this strategy does pay off.

Sykes hater, you are the biggest idiot I have ever met. No shit this strategy doesn't pan out holding any company for the long term since only 1-3% of companies over the long run actually go down in value. Value is constantly being created in companies. Anyone who has taken a business class knows that. That is not what Tim is contesting. He simply shorts fraudulent companies. In the long run they may eventually go up, but because of their scandelous activities in the short run they have one of the greatest risk/reward ratios out there.

So once again, you are an idiot. Your name shouldn't be sykes hater, it should read 'common sense hater'.

See you guys Monday.
• be-the-ball
I tell you what Ynvai,

I shorted XRM at 4.2 when I posted.

We will let the $ do the talking.

How bout getting a handle someone can pronounce, BTW?
• Goose
Cool...alright forget what i said.
• Bob (VC)
Eh? Is VRML being delisted?
• JensGould
100k share order on LGDI?
• jesseb
Sykes, yeah...how old are you chief? Are you working with a pathetic amount of money for investing like me?

If you're doin' so well, and life is so great...why are you here bitching at Tim? Did he fuck your mother or something? If so, she probably needed it.

You have nothing at stake here...go back to your fund and leave us alone...no one cares what you have to say.

If indeed Tim's strategy doesn't work for us...guess what...we'll go try something else. For now, go make your tons and tons of money and drive your super rad car.
• YngvaiMalmsteve
Ball, I'm not saying you can't have success with the trade. It's that shorting earnings moves is RISKIER then shorting hype & fluff. Your probability of being right on an earnings move might be 50/50 at best. Your probability of being right on hype/fluff is more like 90.

And I really don't give a damn whether you can pronounce my handle.

Hey, Bob, I'm 34 too so not everyone here is in their 20's.
• be-the-ball
yngvai,

i agree with you, what I am saying is that this is a hype and fluff move. I listened to their conference call, nothing there but smoke and mirrors.
• nsaflyer
Well call me the old man, I'm 45 retired, no I don't have a porsche, I have a F350 dually,a new jeep wrngler,55 chevy worth 80 grand, a BMW Z4,a new harley, no apt tho, wouldnt pay rent to anyone, I live in a 425,000 house thats paid for and have three rental houses so dumbasses like you can strugle to pay rent every month

Tim, as moderator why dont you just kick this dumbass off here?
• novalis78
even though i too think that XRM had a crazy unjustified run-up, you won't know whether this is the top, yet. good luck though, ball!
• nsaflyer
Oh yeah, I've been retired for 7 years too asshole
• be-the-ball
thanks novalis, short is small for now.

tim isn't here, he is off working out so he looks good in a hottub on the bachelor...
• jesseb
nsaflyer, 45 isn't old...that's a great age to retire. It just makes me sad to see so many Americans working until they are 60 or whatever and really having nothing to show for it. We aren't meant to work for 40 years...it's not why we have all this great technology and access to information...

I want to retire by the time I'm 35 (i.e. never have to work a job again). Though trading full-time would clearly be a job, on any given day or week or month, I can just say: "I'm gonna go have fun".
• Tony Ellis
can APWR run?
• Webster
Who cares when you retire, blog is for trading here fellows.
• Bob (VC)
nsaflyer- nice stable you got there! Did you go with the 2 door or 4 door Wrangler JK?

Glad to see that I'm not the ONLY old man here, but we do seem to be in the minority.

Yngvai- what does your screen name mean? I remember someone saying it was a great screen name, so I feel like I've missed out on something..
• jesseb
Webster, absolutely right - I'm no longer on a soapbox :P I'll let you gents discuss makin' the paper ;)
• bdog9seclx
Sykes hater you play with other peoples money id like to see ur portfolio...u cant argue results....and nothing can be proven to be exact in the market there is no way to prove anything...but stats...for anyone to even take you seriously your gonna have to show something...if you do help run a large fund...why did u even find this site and why are you even talking on this site...those managers wouldnt waste their time with you...you are probably one of the analyst or honary magazine writers he badmouthed and what he said about you stung soooooo bad you wanted sweet revenge will guess what I bet he knows you and if yuo did reveal your identity he would probably blow u out of the water again.... show me how u could turn a small account like 12,415 into anything going long on real companies? results matter...I dont see you on CNN, FOX, and tons others...im not trying to brown nose tim but im very skeptical person and his results are sound and I have begun trading the same way and am up %45 from 12,415 since april 9 2003...get a life dont you have a fund to be mangaing?

APWR - looks like a good short to me...
if it runs, you'll just get stopped out quick...no biggie
if it fails, it'll drop 2-3 points in a few days

Bob, my screen name is the combination of two guitar players that I listen to....Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai...Yngwie was pretty big in the 80's, Steve Vai used to play for David Lee Roth & Whitesnake but has been solo for many years now
• Alex
Goose - I see we awe both thinking the exact same thing at the same tiem. I think timmay's site should have a place for irrelevent banter and a place for reporting stocks in play. Anyone who abuses the stocks in play board should get banished from posting there. What you say Tim?
• YngvaiMalmsteve
Damn NNVC popped back up. I was in too early....should've waited until this afternoon.
• why short NNVC here, do u guys not understand me when i say dont short randomly strong penny stocks?
• Bob (VC)
Yngvai- Now it makes sense. That's why it sounded familiar when I tried to say it, but still didn't make sense to me. Wow, Yngwie Malmsteen- I haven't heard that name in quite a while.
• jesseb
Is there an easy way to create a list of stocks you're watching that all get updated in real-time? I've got an account with TOS...wondering if it can be done there...
• YngvaiMalmsteve
Tim, NNVC has been pumped up off of a press release on 5/5 about a small trial on one of their drugs. It's been running since then. It's got the beginning of the supernova-ish chart pattern. Every time it's done this in the past it's come back down. But I just got in way too early...should've waited for weakness in trading volume and I didn't.
• Millionairemind
Goose, I was out of SSBX at $2.52 (post #77 above). It was definitely not an ideal one to enter a position (despite 7 straight session low) but took a tiny risk (with a very tight stop) after reading an ANALyest Sandler O'Neill downgraded to sell when SSBX was trading under $3. What the f%$k was he doing when it was $26, $13, $7.50, $5 ? I know what these a$$holes want when they upgrade and downgrade stocks. I hope you took profit (at least some). Thinking about entered a small short position on MBI after listening to Ackman comments on CNBC this morning. What do you say?

R.H. Donnelley RHD Lehman Brothers Underweight $9
• bdog9seclx
i meant 2008....any ways sykes hater why dont you start posting good ideas and we will see if they pan out im just curious to see...but im sure you will have some excuse like you have too much money and u wouldnt waste your time...u better not let Mr. Lynch know your wasting company time and resources posting on this lame site
• Goose
Millionaire - I took pretty decent profit. Didnt quite exited at the right time. Meh..shit like that happens all the time.
• nsaflyer
Tim are you plannin on holding VRML over th weekend if it doesnt tank this afternoon?
• Davey
Some of you guys are on the wrong site, these stocks are random as hell, why not just mention them on a random message board and not where we are looking for specific plays. Why are we talking about IAR and RHD here. Just enjoy the day until a play evolves or wait till next week.
• Tony Ellis
CAn SOL make it to 18.50?
• Pump n Dumper
I hope you all realize whenever you boy Tim is in a stock, the sheer fact that you all are shorting it after him helps him out tremendously. These stocks are illiquid so any large buy/sell blocks help push the price of these stocks that much easier. So congratulations on making your man TIM rich again when he lost it the first time around! Give yourselves a round of applause!
• Davey
Dumper, no offense but there are tiny accounts on this site, most under 25K, and to tell you the truth, just look at the comments above most people aren't playing Tim's stock, and usually there are only 2 or 3 people that actually have the shares to short these things anyway.
• RGIlles
What's wrong pump n dumper couldn't find VRML shares either?
• Dan-O
Gosh, Thanks Dumper I didn't realize that.

Perhaps I should put my money in treasuries... the most overvalued asset in the world.
• Bob (VC)
3.40, I dub thee the most annoying support level ever...
• Dan-O
Tim post his IP address and bust out this assclown.
• Alex
Tony - kinda low volume on SOL and it's the third attempt to breakout 18.50. Did you buy APWR? - it's holding up well
• new TIMradio is up!

with thinkorswim's founder
• Alex
Anyone else wanting to buy AGEN since it has come down off its recent news spike? I don't think it was complete fluff news - there's some substance there.
• watching VRML breakdown is like watching my haters try to form rational thoughts, both will happen eventually, just not easy for either of them
• be-the-ball
OME a good short here.
• Goose
be-the-ball- when u thinking about covering ur position in XRM?
• alister1
Dan-O i think this guy is a tool too, but Treasuries are not overvalued.

I firmly believe though a nice long/short mix is the way to go, keep up the good work tim
• Bob (VC)
It's like poetry Tim!

Now in Haiku form:

VRML Break
Like watching hater try think
Not easy for them
• Tony Ellis
ALEX, Long APWR since yesterday @18.50...no position in SOL yet
• be-the-ball
goose,

it's just a small position so I will let it run. think it can see 3 easy but might take a few days
• bdog9seclx
wow sykes hater change your name to pump n dump did ya?
• Alex
Tony - are you looking to buy SOL at 18.50 also?
• Awwww yeah 40 cent drop in VRML!!!! this is just the beginning of the crack
• will_the_thrill
Is everyone signed up at cnbc's portfolio challenge? lol
• Tony Ellis
Probably going to pass on SOL. May consider if it breaks 18.85 with really strong volume into the close.
• Ryan
Who cares about CNBC's portfolio challenge? If I can make money for real, I will make million dollars myself instead of wasting time picking stock for CNBC's portfolio challenge. Don't you agree Tim?

BTW, Tim didn't participate himself in last year's challenge except he appeared on CNBC with pretty chicks. Any plan to bring them back this year on CNBC with you Tim?
• YngvaiMalmsteve
So I just posted my lesson on NNVC on the forum
• nsaflyer
covered VRML @3.00 for a .72 gain on 1k shares, thanks Tim, U da MAN!!
• Covered my VRML at $3.05, nice safe $900 gain, or a 19% return in 2 days...15 cents off on my entry, probly off on this exit too as it might take out $3, but this is the kind of pennystocking gain that one should expect when playing these kinds of stocks

cnbc hasn't invited me back since i brought the girls on...cant play stocks under $500mil anyway so its not my specialty
• Dan-O
Congrats NSAflyer
• Alex
Tony - LUNA, VLNC have potential as early breakout plays
• Goose
SOL broke 18.87. Anyone going to hop in?
• ChartD
How are you guys shorting OTCBB securities. My brokerage does not allow it? And nice short on VRML, TIM. I held out because I thought the bid and ask spread was too high.
• be-the-ball
took SOL at 18.65, out of most up here 19.2
• PETEKUSH
bdco!
• Tim, fucking love you man, keep up the good work!
• Jeff Bowyer
"VRML...the company is a truly failing biotech microcrap in the same vein as REED"

Ahhh, REED is not a biotech microcap. From Google Finance (and other sources): "Reed’s, Inc. develops, manufactures, markets, and sells natural non-alcoholic and New Age beverages, candies and ice creams."
• bowyer, i was referring to the chart similarities, bring it bitches, u typical penny stock trader idiots got nothin
