All right, stop, collaborate and listen, TIMradio is back with a brand new edition…everybody give a warm round of page views to Cameron Fous of TheTechnicalTrader.net who not only plays microcap stocks from the opposite side as me–meaning he buys them on the way up–he’s in Idaho or some weird place like that, he’s younger and a better trader than me (except the last 2 weeks, haha suck on that Fous!)–with his account up 450%+ in 2 years.

Interview with Cameron Fous of TheTechnicalTrader.net

  • Haha Fucker! yah this past week sucked big time :) But were in a new month now. Do work son! Im gonna be cookin MC's like a pound of Bacon!
  • damn tons of stocks breaking out MELA, CEGE, FEED, FRPT, TSYS

i think i'll ignore them all and go into next week with a clear head...with BSHF and VM this week, i got pretty damn close to stock picking perfection, now i just gotta execute better
  • Davey
Yea good interview Tim, I was listening and thinking if you did the 20-30gain to 8%loss strategy like Cam you would be up huge, but I know you need to protect capital, but if you look BSHF and VM just for example those were about 10-20% moves after a about 5% loss at its high. I agree with you cutting losses quickly though.
  • Bob the VC
I surprised you youngsters even remember Vanilla Ice!

Cameron, enjoyed your site (while it was free). Unfortunately I only stumbled across it a few months before you went Black (will you ever go back?). Even more unfortunate is that the only stock I jumped in on with you was UTVG..

Since that loss, all of my trades have been short sales, and they have all been profitable. I think I have the dark gift as well..
  • Davey
Damn Bob the VC you get every trade right? You should start a site.
  • Bob the VC
LOL- that would be the day people should listen to my trading advice! I should have qualified that above statement by noting it's only been three short sales I've made, and none have been huge profits (not even close!). Take today's trade of HDY- in at $2.23, out at $2.15 (I should have gotten in around $2.30, and out at $2.10, but as Tim says- Woulda shoulda coulda).

I'm still very new to trading. Most of my experience is long biased investing based on going with what I know, research, and market timing, and I'm not even great at that (well, a bit better than many of the poor suckers out there):

Aside from day trading though, the $10k I put in the market late February closed today at $15,879. That is the real value after commissions and margin interest. It will be a long time before my day trading sees those kinds of returns, but I'm trying..

Kick ass interview. Keep em commin
  • Dan-O
What a great interview, f'n awesome.
  • Neil
what did I do wrong? Cameron Fous interview file was only about 10 seconds long?
  • damn, 23 years old huh; I thought FOUS was an older guy until I googled him and found his myspace. Anyway, a very refreshing interview. It's beautiful to hear a couple of non-ANALyst technical traders speak about the skill and simplicity of reading charts and predicting microcaps. I've got some work to do if I am to catch up to you and Cameron!
  • Great Interview Tim. I'm really lovin this TIMRADIO tons of great information out there coming from other traders. Thanks again
