Why Dennis Gartman Is A Classy Pump And Dumper & Some Other Hot Stocks

Tags: Breakdowns, Hot Stocks, Manipulation, Patterns To Short, Potential Plays, Short Squeezes

COIN
Yup, that old “classy” pump and dumper Dennis Gartman is at it again—re-adding this company with ZERO revenues (and even though they have PRs for everything including partnering with charities but can’t seem to find the time to put out ANY quarterly earnings PRs!)….last time he recommended this in Barorns right around the same price, the stock spiked and he admittedly sold into that strength, c’mon Garty, do your little song and dance routine again so you can pump and dump one more time! (SEC: I gotta remind you underpaid overworked fellas that original Barrons article was such a blatant case of stock manipulation—COIN was the only stock under $1 billion in marketcap). At least true bottom of the barrel penny pumpers don’t hide what they really are—they know they are scum—Gartman does—that makes him a typical industry villain!

Shorts don’t even think about it yet, yes, you might be able to scalp it, but never underestimate a scam of a company whose charts has now determinedly bottomed at $8 and $9…just not much downside here…short-term at least

BSHF
Totally screwed this one up yesterday, went short into a morning dip, looking for an outright panic, didn’t get it, 2 hours too early, seriously, so close, covered for a $90 loss…detailed post coming…when you know you have a busy day, just don’t trade—99 times out of 100, trading takes priority, but since launching this new site today was non-negotiable (and as you can see we’ve still got a ton of bugs to work out), wasting a day watching this stock wasn’t an option…stupid trade, even if it is a great example of how well shorting spa stocks works

PWSV
A spam stock breaking out higher…great example of why I take my profits quickly and don’t stick around to wait for hte FBI to bust in (they’re slow)

VM
To prevent me from trading—yes, it really is that much of an addiction—I turned my trading software off yesterday afternoon, missing this stunning beauty of fader…never say my readers ain’t smart, resident wise ass Ben Bien nailed this in the TIMforums before it dropped big–too bad he didn’t have a Thinkorswim account to short it though! Brand the chart below into your brains. Summary: solid multi-day runner, big-time short squeeze/rumors yesterday, you wanna short when that squeeze starts to fade (although I don’t like rumor stocks), in the afternoon when it cracks the $4.60 range

LNG
Another stock I missed rolling over, over the painnnnnnnnn

GST
Strong little sucker, remember, don’t even think about shorting until you see the whites of their eyes!

CDY
Spiked a few weeks ago, retraced, now it’s spiking even higher…gotta be careful with these, already sucked/squeezed a few short sellers out there

KTCC
Up on strong earnings, sure there might be some retracing going on, but I don’t short small stocks that put up big earnings, obviously the odds of giant success are still against them, but they’re putting up a good fight

saw that VM as well, too bad I’m still under restriction. I think when I get the stimulas/income taxes I’ll be switching over to TOS. The new site is great Tim, everything is laid out nicely and is more entertaining. Keep up the good work

I thought that in the beta there was a lot going on, but now it really flows well, and you don’t feel like it’s overwhelming. Great job, I’ve been part of website creations and I know how many times you have to push back the opening day to get it just right and so far I think you and your designer have done a great job.

Careful with PWSV short. Here is a good article.

ATLANTA — A CBS 46 Investigation uncovered what appears to be a needless waste of power in some metro Atlanta homes.

A device called the “Power-Save 1200” promises to cut electric bills up to 25 percent. The U.S. Department of Energy has endorsed the technology, but not a single power company in the Southeast is willing to talk about the product.

Motor-based appliances pull in more kilowatts of energy than people use. The leftover energy flows out of the home, completely wasted. The makers of the Power-Save 1200 claim that if a homeowner installs the device near the breaker panel, it will store the leftover power for future use.

The device was intriguing to one Atlanta family. With one toddler and another on the way, the Marks are a high-energy family.

“I have an electric lawnmower, so I have been kicking that on as well,” said homeowner Greg Mark.

“I’m doing potty training, so the dryer is on every day,” said wife Michelle.

The Marks agreed to let CBS 46 install the device in their home. Their electrician said this was the first device he’s ever seen in a home. The electrician said he normally installs the device in businesses.

“It’d be interesting to see if we can really reduce our power without having to change our lifestyle too drastically,” said Greg.

Several months later, the Marks consulted their electric bills for the results.

“The real measure is year to current month and that was a big difference!” said Greg.

The family’s energy use is down 240 kilowatt hours a month, saving the family about $15 to $20 a month. If the trend continues, the $300 investment in the device will be paid back in about 18 months.

The Marks have cut the bill by about 12 percent so far, but with summer approaching, the Marks will be cranking up their energy-hogging air conditioning. That means the largest savings may be yet to come.

“I’m looking forward to cranking it up,” said Greg. “So we’ll see what happens!”

    Timmy,

Being a web developer myself, great job!! It’s all well organized and very well done.. It looks like you put lot of effort and have a good designer if you one to work with you.. It’s a lot to take it in one day but you summarized it all for the first time in first page to show what you got..

    Good deal!!

PWSV is a blatant fraud, you gotta be careful with all these stocks, but never ever believe the hype, they’re not the first nor will they be the last to talk up their “technology”

    Tim,

I think the US department of energy doesnt endorse scams.

NEVER believe the hype isnt some catchy marketing thing i’ve dreamed up, its through a DECADE of seeing these EXACT kinds of companies…there’s plenty of ways for somebody to endorse something, 99.9% of them are MEANINGLESS

oh trust me, if there was ANY ideal play goin on right now, i’d drop all the other stuff, but there aint, just a bunch of scalps, VM woulda been good for 20 cents, FEED might be good here for 20-50 cent bounce…gotta ignore these and wait for those $1-$2/share plays

  40. 40bdog9seclx

    May 1st, 2008 at 11:26 am

I think i got a good idea for the site timmay…how bout a chat room where everyone can talk real time about real time trades etc…anyone else think that would be cool…?

  41. 41will_the_thrill

    May 1st, 2008 at 11:42 am

Goin to buy some abk around 1 pm est, memorized the chart for best entry, bought some back and 3.48 will ride back up to 6.

  42. 42tmvijai

    May 1st, 2008 at 11:52 am

WILL_the-Thrill, do you think it will go till $6 without any break. I thought of buying it when it dropped to 3.48 but didn’t

  43. 43Stoquer1

    May 1st, 2008 at 12:16 pm

Tim why dont you go back to previous stocks and pickup more cash as they further dwindle away? EX. PDO-.95, WSCI-2.00 DGLY -.50. It seems like fairly easy money once they have been pumped dumped and repumped and eventually fade into oblivion. Thanks

  44. 44TIM Sykes

    May 1st, 2008 at 12:29 pm

  46. 46TIM Sykes

    May 1st, 2008 at 12:46 pm

chat rooms is out, too many legal issues, especially with all the frauds we play

  47. 47will_the_thrill

    May 1st, 2008 at 1:00 pm

too many people want to make big money on abk, if it gets back to where it was before earnings, the sellers will be-a-plenty tryin to break even.

  48. 48will_the_thrill

    May 1st, 2008 at 1:15 pm
