I’m Hungover And I Don’t Care Who Knows It!
I’ve got nothing much to say right now and thanks to last night’s crazy Gawker-hosted party, I’ve got a pounding headache and I’m trying to watch the only 3 volatile low priced stocks at the moment—COIN, USU, YTBLA—but none are ideal…yet.

Also got a ton of chores to do. Uhhhhh. Screw it—I’m no use to anyone like this, I’m gonna go take a nap.
That’s the advantage of being a rich /self-employed and self-centered trader. I’ll be back with something witty/educational later today

May 15, 2008Yup, by next Monday, everything's gonna be real working-like!
May 15, 2008PDO, up $4+ today, will teach you not to randomly short strong penny stocks, get in, get out then run...cuz sometimes they squeeze stubborn shorts to death!
May 15, 2008No ideal short plays today, check out these 2 interviews while we wait for price action perfection
I wish I'd listened to my own rulebook, instead got squeezed for $400 shorting blatant-fraud KYUS too early...someone needs a refresher course this weekend!
I nailed NCOC's 20% rise today in my pre-market post, but I was too biased against buying little breakouts, learn from my mistakes!

I’m long USU got some calls when it was around 3.5, you think I should take some profits?
I think it could go to 8 or 9, easily.

I don’t see USU going much higher then 6 today.. seems pretty topped, very tight channel.. might not be ready for a short but today it doesn’t have much direction other then to churn within the .10 cent channel

COIN looks promising. I see those machines everywhere.
But What’s up with the 105:100 stock splits?

USU broke the channel, missed the dang short, there won’t be any big moves in this stock though probably only small 5 to 10 cent moves

I would be careful shorting USU guys, however i am not a stock market expert but I think it will go up for following reasons:
Commodity - Uranium prices going up, coal, nat gas stocks are all up, I think uranium will follow
Fundamental - P/S and P/E and Book are ridic cheap for USU
Technical - Extremely oversold; i bet many funds dumped this stock when it was under 10 and at the end of quarter
Obv I’m biased but is there any rationale for shorting other than its up a lot? I understand that logic with POS but this is a pretty legit company

that was a great nap…usus, probly wont make it much further, hopefully we can a squeeze into teh close/monday spike too short into, just not volatile enough for me
coin’s looking like a potential buy but its really gotta get over $12
ASTI, SKNS prove why u just dont short big moves unless u have all the variables

That’s a good point - CTSR and COIN are very different.
COIN is a NJ-based organic composting/fertilizer/carbon credits company. Crazy, sketchy and a TIM-proclaimed POS…but it keeps going up!
Who knows. When there’s some real revenue it might stay up for a while before falling back to single digit.
And you’re right, Coinstars are f***ing everywhere.

USU — wow!
Ive gotta say AMKR looks damn good to short.

Stan- Wish I still had my short from 6 this morning on USU - o well can’t win them all too unreliable to have held all day
AMKR
International Rectifier Appoints COOAP(Thu 6:13pm)
Amkor Technology, Inc. Earnings Call scheduled for Wed, Apr 30CCBN(Thu 9:10am)
That was the latest news - it has a nice gap to fill - just not a penny stalking pattern - but it may have some play before earnings, it definitely looks bearish

nice YTBLA fade, wish i could find shares to short!
AMKR, blehhh, look at the 2 year chart, not as definite a drop anymore is it? gotta always look at all the time fraes
16InvestorsLive.com
April 4th, 2008 at 1:07 pm
AMKR I’d only be watching it to fill the gap nothing more - so far it’s held but if it were to break down past 10.60 that’s the play I would look for.
17timsykes
April 4th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
no 10.60 is just today’s support, 10.50 if u go back a few days, 10.30-10.40ish if u look for it to fill a multi-week gap…not a clear pattern, avoid

April 4th, 2008 at 1:20 pm
I agree intraday/week I was talking about the chart posted above, and gap back to the 9 range, I was just looking a little further back. I agree though, 10.50’s would cause it to begin to fall market sell already cratered it earlier - and I do agree not a clear chart pattern, only in scalp mode on a day like today not too many penny stalking types
Not much pops up on scan today - must be Friday..

This is a great game, http://www.inspectd.com I bet the minimum amount (10%) and then when I see a super nova I bet the maximum amount. It’s working for me well so far.

COT might be ready to drop on Monday. Today, lots of sideways action with very low volume at the close for the first time. Second Neg day also. Only a -.5% but will take it!

Hey Tim
Who is the kid over your left shoulder in the background of this picture? and is he snapping his fingers to the music? or perhaps he is just “shaking it like a polaroid picture”…
I liked your buddy who puked all over the golf course better…

BA, why do u have a problem with me explaining how i trade profitably? do u realize 90% of traders lose $. sooooooooooo many people don’t even have the faintest clue, all i’m doing is showing them whats worked for me.

you know what works, dxd and ddm, wait for a 3-4 day pattern in either up or down direction, it must be at least 3 days, the longer the better. If market is moving for 4 days in one direction buy the opposite etf, on fifth day market changes direction temporarily (a little profit taking) and you make money :) sounds too easy but it works. Forget about big moves here only .5% to 1.5%, but with $100,000 capital is $1000 in one day. Also last ten fridays were down, bought dxd on thursday sold it on friday.

contrary to BA and in support of Tim, I think he’s hugely smart for promoting his stuff, and I appreciate his opinions on stocks alongside his promotion. I also think it’s cool he gave back some stuff to-like the tulane money. Keep up the good work, and I hope u make some more money for urself and give back a lil to the community, as u have.

konrad, going for 1% gains might work a lot of the time, but when it doesnt, u’ll give back weeks or months verrrry quickly, trust me, i’ve been through phases like that.
