5 Stocks That Have Just Broken Out To New Highs

There are several different ways stocks break out to new highs, but if you buy into stocks that have gone too far too fast, you risk nasty drops. So, to reduce that risk, here are 5 stocks that JUST broke out. All are too expensive/slow moving for TIM, but probly not for some of you—especially new high lovers like Lindzon. In any case, let’s see how these guys fare over the next month, I’ll revisit them on March 24th.

A Sirius-tpye 1.35 billion share float can’t stop Brazilian cell phone play Vivo Participacoes (VIV) making a picture perfect breakout. Viva participado en la fiesta!

    OT:

    Have you checked about OFG.
  • timsykes
OFG is an example of a stock thats run a ton already, a la SWC
  • Dan
OFG. Price is rising, volume is falling. Bunch of divergences on technical indicators.
  • Aegir
    a la SWC??

What do you mean by that.
  • Aegir
Yes true maybe the volume for OFG has been falling, but it wont fall forever, imo.

I do look on the trend charts, I got few others nice trend picks.
  • Dan
AGIX about to break out. Check it out this stock is so undervalued.
  • Aegir
But it is so flat, it is above both 30 & 50 MA that's a good sign, biotechnolgy sector is going now, I dont know why, those company in this sector that i dont like.

    Tim,

Thx for the pics. Does your strategy ever include buying on the pullback to test support?
  • Aegir
I think IGT will go, above 30-50 & 200 MA, nice.

    What about GG?
  • timsykes
AGIX is another horrible penny stock, stop betting on longshots!

no testing support isn't as reliable, even when it does hold you're talking only 3-5%, I'm looking for 10-30% moves

GG is a commodity play, outside the rules of pennystocking

How did you come across NEOG? I was unable to get it on my scans in TOS and stockcharts.com, unless you have been watching it recently?
